Changing and Resetting Your Password

Whether you need to upgrade to a more secure password or reset your password because it was a little too secure to remember, getting a new password in Webdam or Brand Connect is simple.

Please contact support@webdam.com if you need help or additional assistance with your SSO (Single Sign On) credentials. 

 

This article covers the following topics:

Passwords must have the following characteristics:

  • At least 8 characters—the more characters, the better.
  • A mixture of both uppercase and lowercase letters.
  • A mixture of letters and numbers.
  • Inclusion of at least one special character, e.g., ! @ # ?

 Change your Webdam password:

  • Log in to Webdam.
  • Click your name in the top-right corner and select Profile.
  • Click the Change password link under your email address.
  • Enter your new password and click Save.

Change your Brand Connect password:

  • Log in to Brand Connect.
  • Click your icon/avatar in the top-right corner and select Profile.
  • Click the Change password link under your email address.
  • Enter your new password and click Save.

 

Reset your password (forgotten passwords):

  • Enter your Webdam address. (Example: yourname.webdamdb.com)
  • Click Forgot your password?
  • Enter your email and click Submit.
  • An email with password-reset instructions will be sent to your address.
  • You will have 3 attempts to submit a password.
  • There will be a 30 minute lock out for incorrectly submitted passwords.
