Whether you need to upgrade to a more secure password or reset your password because it was a little too secure to remember, getting a new password in Webdam or Brand Connect is simple.

Passwords must have the following characteristics:
- At least 8 characters—the more characters, the better.
- A mixture of both uppercase and lowercase letters.
- A mixture of letters and numbers.
- Inclusion of at least one special character, e.g., ! @ # ?
- Log in to Webdam.
- Click your name in the top-right corner and select Profile.
- Click the Change password link under your email address.
- Enter your new password and click Save.
Change your Brand Connect password:
- Log in to Brand Connect.
- Click your icon/avatar in the top-right corner and select Profile.
- Click the Change password link under your email address.
- Enter your new password and click Save.
Reset your password (forgotten passwords):
- Enter your Webdam address. (Example: yourname.webdamdb.com)
- Click Forgot your password?
- Enter your email and click Submit.
- An email with password-reset instructions will be sent to your address.
- You will have 3 attempts to submit a password.
- There will be a 30 minute lock out for incorrectly submitted passwords.

Bynder/Webdam has redesigned the look of the Edit Profile interface since this article was written, and a few details of the Webdam password changing process are different too. It would be great if you can please update this page.
