Q: Are answers and comments vetted on DAM success so that mis-information is minimized?
A: All comments and quested will be reviewed on DAMsuccess to ensure information provided by customers is accurate. When there are several responses to a question, we will also indicate which response is deemed the "official" response.
Q: Are these features available through the Brand Portal?
A: The Social Publishing and Dropbox integration is available through WebDAM, not the Brand Portal. Regular users and Contributors with the appropriate permissions can send assets to Dropbox as well as publish assets to various social channels. For more on configuring permissions, check out the Configuring Users and Groups article.
Q: Can you tell me what social media channels you include? I saw Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube...
A: WebDAM current supports direct publishing to Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Embeddable links are available for delivering content to other channels such as LinkedIn or Pinterest. We will add other social channels to our Social Publishing feature in the future. Stay tuned at News.

Q: Do you have to subscribe to the API service to get use of the asset chooser?
Customers do need to have a subscription to our API in order to get access to the Asset Chooser. Current customers should reach out to their Customer Success Manager for more information.
Q: In the Asset Chooser, I assume we will be placing an hi-res version of the digital asset. Now is it necessary to place jpg and other low-res versions too or can a user define the purpose of use of the digital asset and be able to download an EPS or Jpg or PNG as needed?
The Asset Chooser will give users the ability to embed various low resolution files. WebDAM automatically generates these low resolution files from the original file supplied upon upload. If you upload an EPS file to WebDAM, you will be able to use the Asset Chooser to embed a low resolution JPG.
Q: So each user can define their individual social media channels?
Users with the appropriate permissions will be able to link multiple social channel accounts.
